Kauai Coffee Estate Reserve Mundo Novo

We prefer full-bodied dark roast coffee. So, Mundo Novo delivers. We picked up a bag during a visit in Kauai in February (pre-lockdown). Since returning to MA, we purchased another 2 lbs and will buy it again (and again). Love it!

Of course coffee, like wine, is subject to individual preference. For us the Mundo Novo is great. It has very good flavor, not harsh or bitter. This is probably our favorite of their specialty coffees.

Mundo Novo has a smooth, bold and rich flavor. I have been drinking it since my first trip to Kauai approximately 10 years ago. One of my favorites.

Personally very nice tasting. We brewed it in a drip maker, though pour-over is even better! Smooth, not harsh or bitter, no sour or salty "finish." It is called dark roast, but does not have the flavor of Viennese or French roast I associate with dark. It is full bodied and does have the hint of chocolate as advertised.

Great coffee, just not quite the same as your dark roast k-cups, not a bold flavor or as dark. I guess because it’s not a blend.

The Kauai Coffee plantation has become a regular stop, while on the Island (from Arizona). We love the coffee, personally, and enjoy giving a few of the single serving samples to our vacation rental guests. Our favorite is the Estate Reserve Mundo Novo, but our purchase was intended to also help Kauai Coffee, its employees and the community, at large. The pandemic has had a devastating economic impact on the residents. We hope that our small purchases from a number of the local Kauai businesses will help in some small way to "drip" a little money into the Island's economy. Thank you for the best coffee anywhere.

Amazing dark roast that has an indulgent chocolate like after taste without the bitterness. I chemex and hand grind these beans daily. After trying on-site last year, Mundo Novo beat out all my old favorites. Love this coffee so much I order the big bag.

Visited Kauai Coffee last summer and sampled many of their fine coffees. Mundo Novo is so good it’s become my House coffee.

I first visited Kauai Coffee in 2013. Since then, it is the only coffee I go back to. I have tried SOOO MANY other coffees in many different areas, without finding something that get close to it. My wife, who I've met in 2016, is now converted to... Just buy it and enjoy! Mundo Nuovo and Kalaheo Estate are our favorites.
